For some time I have been very interested in local history and family history. As a child I went on a local history walk around Oxton Village with Primary school,
This started an interest in me, which has been on hold for most of my life. Living mainly on the Wirral untill 2007, there are some areas
which really have never be covered in the books enough. What is the history behind “Spital” Where was the river diverted down Spital road?.
What was the history behind the town criers block in Willaston? What is the relationship between Brotherton Park and Clynnog Fawr?
Hopefully over time this page will answer this and many other questions. In the mean time.. Here is my work so far!
