The Smallest House in Britain

So where do you think it is?

Its on the quay side at Conway, and its last resident was 6 foot 4 inches tall.

It is tiny,  3.05mx  1.8 m  but you can at least fit a full sized bed upstairs.  Well, as we were going to go as far as Conway with A and K today, we took Asha into the house, and she looked around. I think she will get more from it when she is older, but it was certainly well worth £1 for adults 50p for children.

Penrhyn Castle

We felt the material in the main lounge, we looked at the dungeons, and we walked around the pictures, and at the main hall table.

We discovered why the walnuts were wrapped up in lace (the servants would break the shells before they got to the table) and we looked at the victorian kitchens.

We watched a lady spinning a selection of different wools, and talked about harps.
We looked at the mad collection of trains, but Asha’s favourite bit??? Playing in the play area :D

Wake up.. but which one is A mummy?

Some friends have been staying with us for a few days, this morning Asha wanted to wake them up, but she couldnt work out which was A and which was K. After a lot of encouragement, on my part she eventually jumped on A.. Oh well, that is what guests are for, isnt it????

Trefor Beach

Asha was taken to Trefor Beach she had a lovely time, and walked all along the beach, on the stones, and over the rocks with Daddy and co.

One of the things she told me, when she got back was the rocks were slippy, the seaweed was shiny and the stones were funny to walk on. Last time she was on a stony beach, she hadn’t been very happy about it, so I was glad she was happy to walk on the stony beach.

She was exhausted when she got back, and enjoyed a long bath, before ballet tomorrow.

Thoughts, on our week.

Its been a quiet but positive week this week. C.L.A.S was good, as we did some creative work, which included plaster of paris, something Asha had never done before.

Steve and I have had a good week, although my legs have been very wobbly, and my mobility severly limited, thanks partly to the stress of the DWP, wanting me to go to an interview, at a totally impossible place for me to get to. You would think with my record they would leave us alone, but no.

Asha has enjoyed looking at flowers, in the garden, and has spent a lot of time playing with the local children. She has also cracked riding her bike, and falling off. She can now recognise the primrose as well as daffodils, snowdrops, crocus, and the more common shrubs.

Much time has been spent doing word and letter games, off late. She is currently enjoying some of the Enid Blyton short stories. At least the print is fairly big for me to read them to her! I have been in touch with our M.P over Asha’s DLA. He feels we should be getting more help. Well; )

Overall a positive week, I just wish I felt more human!
