Asha is not disabled.

Aparently it is totally normal for a nearly four year old not to be able to breath / walk or eat wheat / oats or cows milk. According to the DWP the inability to walk as a four year old dosnt mean she is disabled, nor does the horrendous amount of nights we spend up in her room as she is crying / unsettled / struggling to breath due to having had a drop of milk/ gluten somewhere….
Oh well.. we are going to appeal, but things like this just get my back up as its one more thing to deal with. We have sent a copy of our appeal letter to our local MP.. They are not popular at the moment due to the school closures, so I am sure they would like an extra two votes ;)

Good to see the DWP are being their usual selves!
I would suggest getting the help of an advocate or some expert on DLA type things, but finding one who is any good is never easy!

naomi is /was dairy allergic too – milk protein was her thing but she seems to be outgrowing it.

She cant walk when she cant breath, due to the effects of gluten / wheat or milk in her diet. It totally wipes her out. Its horrific to be honest the effect it can have on her.

After a drop of milk it can take me three months to clear her exzema alone.
Gluten and milk will knock her out for weeks, pale, tired, cant sleep cant breath, legs hurt mummy. Tummy sore. Its horrid. During these times even air born gluten will upset her.
